Hello, My Friends!~~
I was so thrilled to find the cutest vintage sewing notion at an estate sale this past weekend and had to repurpose and repair it into a pin cushion. Here is what I made...
The mushroom comes off and is a sock darner...although I don't know who darns socks any more, but it is still cute.

I have two of these little fellows and always wondered why the mushroom came off...now I know. You certainly added extra adorableness to this fellow!

In this day and age, with the way the economy is, not to mention that my husband is unemployed........I admit, I still darn socks occasionally. Only the quality socks though! I have a lovely, black, darning egg that came from my grandma, and I love it. I used to darn my dad's and brother's socks when I was growing up, so it's a normal thing for me.
